This company is committed to the protection from
accidental loss of all its resources, including employees and physical assets.
In fulfilling this commitment to protect both people and property, management
will provide and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with industry
standards and in compliance with the legislative requirements as a minimum
standard. We will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result
in property damage, accidents or personal injury/illness.
► Advance Design & Construction Safety
Safety will be the direct responsibility of all owners, supervisors and
employees.
All management functions will comply with company safety requirements as they
relate to planning, operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment. All
employees will perform their jobs properly in accordance with established
procedures and safe work practices.
We, at Advance Design believe that safety must be integrated as a core business
and personal value, recognizing not only that good safety is good business but
that it’s important for each member of the business to have a personal value for
their own safety and the safety of the people they work with. It is our people
who provide the solutions to our safety problems. They are the one essential
ingredient in the recipe for a safe workplace.

► Advance Design & Construction Ltd. Safety Program
Safety planning and implementation of safety on the job site is an essential and
critical part of our business. Everyone at Advance Design & Construction Ltd,
has a responsibility to implement the policies and procedures of our COR
Certified Safety Program. All staff members including owners are trained to
perform their scope of work in a safe and responsible manner. This training
includes Alberta Construction Safety Courses, first aid, WHIMIS, familiarity
with our safety program policies and procedures, as well as specialized training
and work procedures.
Our Safety Program consists of regular safety and tool box meetings, site
inspections & hazard assessments to ensure all risks are identified, understood,
then minimized or eliminated. With support from our Safety Officer, Linda
Hotchkiss, Advance Design & Construction Ltd. strives to continually improve
safety on our work sites.
